If you see a "Redemption Transaction" dated 2/10/2010, you should receive a Lucky Rewards Visa Prepaid Card by 2/20/2010. What is Lucky Rewards?
Provided by Lucky Magazine, Lucky Rewards is a Cash Back Loyalty program that gives Lucky subscribers Cash Back when they do what they love to do - shop! The program was developed as a special benefit for Lucky subscribers to thank them for their readership.

Lucky Rewards members can access two Lucky Rewards websites to shop, and both give members Cash Back! Members can shop from selected fashion and beauty merchants at shopping.luckymag.com or members can shop at over 600 merchants at rewards.luckymag.com

Members of Lucky Rewards can earn Cash Back on purchases at participating program partners. Cash Back is provided to members in the form of a Lucky Rewards Visa® Prepaid Card, redeemable anywhere Visa is accepted.

In November 2009, Lucky Rewards launched a second Lucky Rewards website with a fashion and beauty focus, highlighting products selected by Lucky magazine editors, giving Lucky readers an opportunity to easily find products like those featured in Lucky magazine.

Why are there two Lucky Rewards websites?
Lucky Rewards has always given Lucky magazine subscribers an opportunity to earn Cash Back at a wide variety of merchants and continues to do so on rewards.luckymag.com (previously at www.myluckyrewards.com). On the pages of shopping.luckymag.com, the Lucky magazine staff now has the opportunity to show its members fashion-foward products sourced from merchants in the Lucky Rewards program, focusing on fashion and beauty products exclusively.

Does the Cash Back I earn vary between the sites?
No. Regardless of which experience you choose to shop, you will earn the same Cash Back as long as you are a Lucky Rewards member. If you are not a member or choose not to sign in before shopping on shopping.luckymag.com, you will still be able to purchase items throguh the featured merchants, however you will not earn Cash Back on those purchases.

Where is the Cash Back I've earned shown?
With two websites serving the program, you will see your Cash Back balance separately until early 2010. Lucky Rewards will maintain two accounts to keep track of the cash back you earn through each experience. However there will be links between the two account so that you can easily see all of the transactions you've made that earned cash Back. As we continue to make enahancements to the websites, the accounts will be combined, giving you a single consolidated view of your Cash Back earned.

I am a registered member but I cannot log on. What do I do?
If you are already registered as a Lucky Rewards member and cannot log on, one of the following may be happening:
  • If you remember your registered email address, click here to update your password via email.
  • If you try to log on and receive an error message indicating your account is an expired trial, then you have used the 90-day trial and must subscribe to Lucky Magazine to continue.
  • If you try to log on and receive an error message that your subscription has expired, you must re-subscribe to Lucky Magazine to continue. After you receive confirmation that your subscription has been reactivated, your membership will automatically be enabled.

Do I get Cash Back for anything I buy?
Some merchants do not offer Cash Back for certain products and services such as gift cards or gift certificates. Also, taxes and shipping fees are not eligible for Cash Back. You can get specific details on the information page for each merchant on the Lucky Rewards website. To find the merchant information, click on the "more info" link next to the merchant's name on any shopping category page, or use the Search box to search for a specific merchant and click "more info" for that merchant.

How long does it take after I make a purchase to see my Cash Back at the Web site?
The amount of time between when you place your order with a merchant and when your Cash Back will appear in your account can vary widely, depending on the merchant. It can take up to 45 days to appear in your account, but when we add the Cash Back to your account, we'll send you an email confirming it so you don't have to worry about it! For any purchases made for travel (including hotels and rental cars) you may see your Cash Back post once that travel has occurred. Even then, please allow up to 45 days after your actual travel dates.

If after 45 days you still do not see the Cash Back in your account, Contact Us and provide the date of transaction, merchant name, order number, and amount of your purchase (before taxes and shipping).

What if I don't see my Cash Back for my purchase?
Your Cash Back should post to your account within 45 days (except for travel transactions as noted above).

If after 45 days you still do not see the Cash Back in your account, Contact Us and provide the date of transaction, merchant name, order number, and amount of your purchase (before taxes and shipping). Note that we can only research transactions made within the past 180 days. Merchants will not address order inquiries older than that, therefore Lucky Rewards cannot obtain missing Cash Back rewards for these purchases.

Do I need a coupon code to take advantage of special offers?
In some cases you do. The coupon code will be given to you along with the special offer. Note that if you go to other sites online to try to find coupon codes and use those, you may invalidate your opportunity for Cash Back through this program.

How do I know how much Cash Back I will receive for each purchase I make?
You will earn a different amount from each merchant, depending on what you buy at that merchant's site. We show you the percentage of Cash Back or flat rate per transaction you will get for each $1 you spend at a specific merchant. View the merchant's information page for specific details on any disclaimers indicating what types of purchases may be ineligible for Cash Back.

I made a purchase outside of My Lucky Rewards. Can I still get Cash Back?
In order for your purchase to be eligible, you must start your online shopping at shopping.luckymag.com or rewards.luckymag.com. Unfortunately, purchases made without going through this online mall are not eligible for Cash Back. Online orders need to be tracked to your Lucky Rewards account, and this happens automatically when you log in to the Lucky Rewards mall using your email address. Merchants will not fund loyalty shopping rewards if a transaction cannot be tracked back to Lucky Rewards.

Can I earn Cash Back by shopping in-store?
Currently, you can only earn Cash Back when shopping online. Some merchants, however, allow you to shop online and pick up in-store (search for a merchant and read the merchant disclaimer for the availability of this feature). Alternatively, there is a wide selection of gift cards you can purchase through Lucky Rewards on our Gift Cards page and through participating online merchants. You earn Cash Back when you purchase these prepaid cards, and the cards can then be used in-store.

How do I know that merchants are really participating?
If you start your shopping at Lucky Rewards, then the merchant you click is a participating merchant. Your order will be tracked to and therefore eligible for Cash Back.

There is no screen to enter your Lucky Rewards information at the merchant's site. Merchants are often unaware of Lucky Rewards. This is because Lucky Rewards is the organization that credits the Cash Back, not the merchant. The merchant pays a commission to Lucky Rewards, and Lucky Rewards converts this payment to Cash Back for you.

Redeeming Cash Back

How do I receive my Cash Back?
Each quarter, if you've accumulated at least $15 in Cash Back, you'll automatically receive a Cash Back redemption. In your profile you can choose to receive a Lucky Rewards Visa Prepaid Card or a check for the total Rewards you've earned as of quarter-end. We'll send your Card to you at the address registered in your Lucky Rewards profile. Then you can spend it anywhere Visa is accepted!

For trial members, you will receive all accumulated Cash Back in the next quarterly period after your trial period has expired.

When do I receive my Cash Back?
Cash Back will be processed four times during the year: in mid-February for Cash Back accumulated as of December 31; mid-May for Cash Back accumulated as of March 31; mid-August for Cash Back accumulated as of June 30; and mid-November for Cash Back accumulated as of September 30. You will automatically receive a payment if you've earned $15 or more in Cash Back as of these deadlines.

For trial members, you will receive all accumulated Cash Back in the next quarterly period after your trial period has expired, even if the balance is less than $15.

Once I get my Lucky Rewards Card, where can I use it?
You can use your Lucky Rewards Card anywhere Visa is accepted. Card use is not limited to purchases at Lucky Rewards' preferred partners.

Does my Cash Back ever expire?
As long as you are an active Lucky subscriber, your Cash Back will not expire. If you cancel your magazine subscription or if your magazine subscription expires, you will no longer be eligible to earn additional Rewards. If you have less than $15 in Cash Back at that time, you need to request (in writing) to redeem your Rewards within six months of cancellation. See our Terms and Conditions.
